The Idaho Fire Protection Forum is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement for the Art and Science of Fire Protection and its related fields. We desire to help maintain a high ethical standard amount our membership, to foster fire protection education for our membership and the general public at large, and to encourage NICET certification. The goals of the IFPF are:

1. Professional Practice...to advocate the development and application of fire protection technology with integrity, objectivity and technical quality.
2. Education...to transfer modern theory, principles, and practices to current and prospective fire protection engineering technicians, allied professionals and others.
3. Relationships...to relate with organizations, individuals, and the public to accomplish the purposes of the IFPF.
4. Research and Development...to identify R&D needs and to support projects which may lead to new and improved fire protection principles and practices.
5. Administration...to develop an administrative and business system to suppor this plan.
